should be standard
Hi,
Me and a buddy seem to disagree on how to play this hand.
Was wondering what the general mindset is.
MTT 350 players, 14 left, 7 max 2 tables.
I guess villain and me did not have anything excentric going on.

Payouts?
Other stacks?
History with villain?
With ICM considerations checking behind feels mandatory. If we’re good we’re good, if we’re not then we still have 30BB.
Losing to something like A2ss when a third bet might have won it sucks, but not as much as betting river and facing a raise or just getting called by any of the 9s that villain can have.
Payouts? 50 itm, so already at 4-5* buyin right there? was going up significantly from t7
Other stacks? some shorts, mostly similar, I was actually at 50 or 60 BB if I'm not mistaking, villain was the shortstack here
History with villain? He was a little bit splashy raising 2bb prelop here and there mostly stealing pots or letting go. nothing out of the ordinairy. I believe I had an OK rubust image haven't been playing too many hands at that point.
probably just checking back the turn without other reads... getting c/r'd on the turn sucks with two overs and a flush draw.
as played i guess just bomb river and hope to fold out pocket pairs under 9's
but i don't think you want to be pulling 3 barrell bluffs with icm factors with 2 tables left
