Could I have folded QQ on the flop?

Could I have folded QQ on the flop?

BB 600, effective stack 22K

UTG: QQ, I raised to 1.5K.

Player in LJ called; everyone else folded.

Flop: 5h6d5h

I bet 3K, she raised to 10K. I was confident she didn't have 55, 66, or 56. In previous hands she was sort of loose, calling down with inferior hands. I thought her range was flush draws, 77, 88, 99, maybe TT. I re-raised all in; she called with Ks5s and her hand held.

I was pretty surprised she called my UTG raise with K5 suited but I just don't think I could have found a fold given the flop and chip stack.

Nah, you can't ever fold here. She is dead money obviously.

Probably not if you think she would raise and get it in with any overpair. But describing her as loose and calling down with inferior hands makes me wonder how often she raises.

You'll get better answers if you don't post results or headline the post in a way that makes clear what happened.

It's always a warning sign when this type of loose-passive players suddenly raise instead of just call. But I agree with the others you probably can't fold here. Sometimes this type of player also can defend even a weak top pair on the flop furiously.

Like you wrote: In the long run you gonna benefit from her stupid plays. This type of player might very well call at least one street on this board with hand like non-heart JT or calling you down all the way with 77 or A6 (without flush draw). Unfortunately the fact that they are hard to put on ranges will result in Hero losing chips from time to time when they hit their gut shot on the river with T7s in SB after calling two streets with nothing else than that. Or finding out with AK on KT245 rainbow board that the fish called with K5s from LJ like in this hand.

call and let her barrel it off.. if she has it oh well

also call floor about the two 5 of hearts

Easy call. You are right that the range to call your open includes very few 5s -- perhaps A5ss and sometimes K5ss -- but many more 88,99,TT,JJ and draw hands. If you're folding here then you are playing far too tight. It's a cooler, but don't let it stop you from calling in +EV spots like this.
