Hand from video: TPGK raised on turn

From WSOP side event video. 3-handed at final table. BTN 11M, SB 15M, BB 13M. Blinds 200/400/400. BTN raises to 800K with AsQs, BB calls. Flop 7c6sTh, x/x. Turn Ac. x/BTN bets 1.1 M into 2.2M, BB raises to 3.5M. What would you do as BTN?

Reads would be nice.

Not folding ... most of the time.

BTN folded. BB had 96o for pair and gutshot. I figure if you fold AQ, you fold almost anything. BTN could be bluffing the ace on the turn with air. Maybe people don't bluff raise enough so the fold is reasonable. Don't really have reads, but BB had a name like from the former Soviet Union.

I sometimes fold there and sometimes I just jam because it is all going in on the river anyway (likely pot sized jam) or I'm just giving a free card and if it is a draw or double draw they might just fold and are likely not betting the river if they miss (though the double barrel bluff could be very effective).

The reason I fold is that a c/r into an A that has to be better for me than just about any card, indicates a lot of strength (like 2 pair or better expecting a delayed cbet on the turn after checking twice).

I do agree that it is a spot that is way under bluffed because of the A on the turn. So advantage to guy who c/r'd

Why I would call here is that we are the short stack and this might be the place to make a stand.

Call. Also BB raise is awful.

It's the ICM and lack of visibility on future streets here. AQ is dead against 87 and sets, drawing to three outs against aces up, and five against other two pair. There's a good chance you are getting shoved on on the river, and there are a lot of bad river cards for you even against semi-bluffs. Final 3 at a big live event, the pay jumps are huge and preserving your stack does matter.

I don't know if I'd say it's "right" or "wrong," but it's a spot where when you call 2.4M of your 9.1M remaining, you often have to fold the river anyway, or call and go broke. Just an ugly spot and given the amount of money at stake I don't mind bypassing it.
