I live outside the EU. I`m waiting for a letter with code for more than 3 month now, more precisely multiple of them. They refuse to send a letter with track number. They refuse to accept ANY of documents, proving my home address. Is it even legal?
I am Brazilian and had an account with Winamax.fr. On June 5th I received an email informing me that my account should be transferred to Winamax.es and that my funds would be automatically transferred to my account used for deposit (Skrill).
I completed the process of transferring my account to Winamax.es, as described in the email, but I did not receive my funds. I contacted support, who informed me that the transfer could not be made via Skrill, information contrary to the information in the email I had previously received. They informed me that I would need to open an account in a European bank to receive my money, and that I would need a European IBAN with a certificate of ownership. Fortunately, I had an account with Wise.
Instead of paying the full amount, they decided to make the payment in 2 pieces and after receiving the first one, Wise closed my account, informing me that receiving money from Winamax was against Wise's terms of use (Winamax support itself had recommended that I use Wise to receive the money).
Now, I can't receive the rest of the payment because European banks don't open accounts for Brazilians and Winamax refuses to make the payment through any other method, which makes no sense.
This is the same as stealing my money, because they offer as the only payment method an option that is not viable.

Hi Ortega,
Were you able to fix this ?
Did you find a bank that provides european iban and accepts you as a client ( i tried HSBC but they refuse when they know it was for poker) ?
Do you know why you were not able to withdraw with skrill ? (because your skrill is domiciled out of Europe ?)
Wise just banned you without possibility to come back ? If it's not personnal, what was the amount of your transfer with Wise ? I recently withdraw 20k from Wise but they refuse the transfer (same reason) but they didn't close my account.
Of course, since this day, i have big trouble to open an european account as a canadian resident.
Hope you will find a way to get your money back

No, they still have my money...
I opened an acc in Dukascopy, with Swiss IBAN, but they told me it have to be and EU IBAN, exclude Polish and Sweden. I couldnt find a bank with this conditions to open a bank acc for me.
Skrill stop to provide transactions to gamble in Brazil accounts. But in the email Winamax sent me, they told that the payment would be by Skrill. Not true.
I have an adress in Paraguay too, i split my time in both countryes. I talked with Skrill support and they changed my acc to Paraguay, and told me that now i can receive from Winamax. Btw, Winamax dont want to make the Skrill payment nway.
Winamax made the payment by Wise. A day later i received an email by Wise, saying that the money would return and my acc would be closed, for broke the ToS.
