ACR FT: 2 spots
FT of an $11 PKO on ACR. Have run hot and been chipleading for about the past hour. Wanted to check 2 spots that I think are standard but my understanding of FT/ICM play isn't outstanding so here goes.
Spot 1:
8 way. Stacks range from 20 BBs to 45 BBs (mine).
UTG + 1, who I have only played a couple of orbits with but seems tight, opens. HJ calls. We 3 bet to 7.5 BBs from SB with AQo. UTG + 1 4 bet jams for about 30 BBs. We fold.
Spot 2:
The very next hand. Still 8 way with same blinds and stack sizes.
LJ (aggressive) opens for 2 BBs off ~35 BBs. I flat on BU with 77. SB also calls. BB (active reg) rips it in for 24.5 BBs. LJ folds. I call.
Sadly I don't have the bounty information but I don't think they were super high in either case. We can assume they were about $10 each but it's a PKO so I only get half of that.
Thoughts?

1. Against an EP raise from a tight player I don’t see AQo as a 3! OOP.
We can flat call here and play ranges postflop.
2. Active or not, how much of his range do we dominate? 44,55,66? We’re behind a chunk of it 88, 99, 1010,JJ,QQ and possibly KK/AA plus we’re flipping against the rest.
1: Against a tight EP player I would consider calling with AQo pre-flop especially if I was going to fold to a jam. The sizing of the 3-bet is smaller than what I would make it because we are OOP and there is another caller. Assuming the opening raise was 2x, I would 3-bet typically to 10 bb's here. Because that is over 30% effective stack size (assuming HJ has less than 35 bb's) I would either jam or call in this spot. Given that they would be risking their bounties and wouldn't benefit from our bounty I would lean towards calling because their calling range of our jam would be very strong.
2: In bounty spots I typically use the starting stack size in my calculations as to whether its worth calling or not. Here at the final table I'm guessing the starting stack size is not really significant. I have no problem with the original call but if I were going to call the jam I would probably jam instead so that the SB's bounty was also at risk (assuming they had more than 24.5 bb's) and they would be more inclined to fold. Here I don't think the bounty possibility makes calling with 77 worth it because if we lose (and we will lose likely more than 60% of the time) we won't be in the bounty hunt anymore.
