Not sure I raise quite so much pre but postflop looks standard
BTN clicks 50% on flop 33% on turn calling is the only option.
If he bets river we’re in an uncomfortable spot but his check back suggests we got lucky with the river giving us both two pair and a K kicker.
I also don't raise so much pf. Think I play flop and turn same.
I shove river all day here. Put all of V's As in the blender. Don't think V can have AK, AA, or KK here as he shouldn't want to price in limper by flatting pf. So that leaves 2 combos of 88 and one combo of 99 that beat you -- A9 should not be in V's range after your raise. Only way I check river is if V is the type of player who I know is going to triple his busted straight draws (mostly JT here).
It's a PKO so I wanted to raise enough to deter anyone else from coming along.
Interesting thought about shoving river. I don't see villain playing JT this way.
I kind of like the idea of jamming the river because its a PKO and it makes it look like you have AK or AA or KK and want to win the bounty. You also could have 9x type hands which is why you would have been check/calling on the flop and turn. Though this is the type of scenario where Phil Ivey gets knocked out of tournaments by jamming and the Villain shows up with a boat...
I agree with bubblebust in that there is little likelihood that Villain has AK/AA/KK. In Villain's position (with an Ax type hand) I have folded a few times to jams because it would cost 48,000 chips to win 17,000 and chopping is likely the best case scenario. And because you have more chips than Villain there is no bounty benefit for him to call. Villain can have 88/98s/99/A♦9♦ but that totals only 7 combos. I don't think Villain bets the flop & turn with T9s/J9s/97s hands and Villain would also likely fold most of those preflop. Villain could have AQ/AJ/AT/AXs type hands where there are up to 56 combos. So I like the gamble.
I would fold preflop. I don't know why you are surprised to get a caller. IMO this hand is too weak with 5 players to act.
I would also cbet this flop. You have most of the AA/AK/AQ, so you won't get raised much.
