Zen something on GG, $1.5 buyin, were still 8-handed and super deep as for FT (most stacks are 15-25 but there are two of 50bb) I’m also 50 bb and open from UTG, the BTN jams for its 15 bb, then back to me, can I Find an ICM fold here?

Because we opened UTG I would say that BTN's range is likely 99+/AQ+/AJs. Which means we have about 36% equity (half the time we are ahead on a flip and the other half we have a PP behind a bigger PP). So I would fold here.

But in fairness it really depends on the range of the jammer. If they have been 3-betting wide against EP opens then its probably a call. Or if we have been opening a bit in EP then Villain may be jamming wide (like with any AXs as well as possibly smaller PP's).

Yes, i only called based on pot odds which was like 21bb to 12bb to call, but then I realized it was not the time and place

8-handed at a final table? You can fold, but it's not easy and may not be correct. It's close.

Final table situations depend on a lot of factors, like payouts, exact stack distributions, etc. You should include those in FT posts.

You should try to range your opponents and things like that, or talk about your thought process. A lot of your posts seem to be "I called and lost; was this wrong?" And try to avoid posting results-- even if you don't post them in the OP, you do fairly quickly afterward or the OP makes it evident what the results were.

Seems quite borderline. I'd be inclined to fold most of the time, I think, but it's close for sure. Depends a bit on how the prizes are distributed (top heavy?) and also on how aggressively you've been opening / how likely reshoves are.
