GG poker - final table seat selection game
For those who play at GGpoker and have experienced their final table seat selection process, where you get a chance to change seat in reverse order of stack size: what is your strategy here?
As a big stack, I guess it is sort of obvious to sit to have position on the other big stacks while keeping small-med stacks to your left. But how do you play this as a short stack picking first? Given that everyone else still gets to move after you, does it even matter what you do?

At the final table, or at least they do in the weekly 10k that gets streamed live.
I'd guess you want to stay to the left of the biggest stacks, of course, but you don't want the shortest stacks directly on your left because they can rejam a lot (unless they're micro stacks). And since the biggest stacks pick last, so much could change before you pick your seat that I'm not entirely sure it matters-- especially as a short stack.

Generally big stacks will fight to be on the left of one and another, like CL, 2nd n 3rd, will be shuffling positions,
if by short u mean, -12bb, just aim to get that imediate sweet CO, HJ spot and enjoy a bit of a peaceful orbit and maybe right away pay jump.
Dont't think long therm there, just try sneak a imediate good spot, they fight for positions long therm, they dont even care having you on the left, and you also shouldn't, just think about the actual position, .
But don't go for BTN, it makes obvious and ppl might punish.

do you think most $EV will be in just somehow sneaking into the final table (short),
like is there even less value in fighting for pots before the final table, winning chips and getting a decent stack or become chipleader?
