1000 $ WSOP Day1 near bubble
Hi everyone,
Looking for some advice on a situation from yesterday in the WSOP 1000$ tournament.
77 players left. Pays 59. (And 39 make it to day 2).
Blinds 4k 8k (+8k ante). (20k total)
Stack sizes
B (me) : Aprox 80k (M4)
SB : 130 K
BB : 150k
9 players. Folded to me on the Button.
I have 53s. What's your move? What is your shoving range here?
Looking forward to your thinking and advice.

Your hand is definitely a fold. I likely have a small minraise range here, but am mainly shoving or folding with 10 BB.
I raise/call something like jacks plus, and minraise/ fold A2o and A3o.
Then I'm shoving all other Ax, kings down to something like K7s and KTo, Q8s+, JTs and all smaller pairs with the possible exception of 22.
Off the top of my head that's what I'm thinking. If you covered the players in the blinds you could shove quite a bit wider. Most players make the mistake of R/F too much off short stacks.
Very easy fold, your hand is bad and has bad blockers.
Yeah very easy fold,
In ICM situations high cards are important
