Sunday Million
i usually play low/mid stakes tournaments but last week was my birthday and I though id buy myself into the Sunday million as a gift of sorts to myself and I was looking for tips on this specific tournament from someone who regularly plays it.

I think in the bigger field tournaments you'll want to play a similar style to any other tournament but there's moments where you're going to take a big risk to double up. I never played big field tournaments online more smaller fields, I think the biggest I won was the IPoker 215 with 1k entrants. Most of the bigger consistent MTT winners have similar styles - they play a lot of hands, chip up in spots with low risk, and they might make a big move here or there esp when your stack gets below say 30 bb. Chip utility in MTTs is king - you can create so many more +ev spots with 70 bbs then you can with 15, so sometimes you need to take a big risk to gain back that stack.
Be patient, have fun.
