400$ live mystery bounty, top 49 get through to day 2 where you're itm and bounties start, 60 left

average stack 35bb, we have around 18bb to start the hand

7 handed, utg 55bb opens to 2bb (he's been opening alot, but haven't seen any weird showdowns and ive only been at the table for an hour)

cutoff 25bbs flats (tight player, hasn't been really out of line)

me btn 18bbs KcQc (I've been pretty snug due to being insanely cardead so my image is really good, I thought about both options but opted to just flat (mistake?)

bb flats (decent player) 18bbs

flop (9.5bbs) Ts4c5h utg leads 1.25bb (not sure what this 15% bet is but haven't seen this from him yet)
cutoff flats the 1.25bb
hero?

Id call (it’s like checking back with that bet to pot size ratio) and go crazy on the turn if a club or J, Q, K comes, but that’s just me and I mostly come here for advice, not to advise, just wanted to chceck if my thinking is OK

Ya price is really good but its not exactly like checking back since we still got bb to worry about behind.

Yes, call and fold to his check-raise cause that’s what I assume happened but calling here is mandatory cause of flush, straight and two overs plus that ridiculous bet

Being this close to the money in a mystery bounty changes everything. 60 left with 49 getting through means you only need 11 more bustouts. With 18bb you've got enough to wait for a better spot rather than getting involved in a multiway pot where both villains have you covered. The tight CO flat is scary too - that range is pretty strong.

he has 10+3+3+3=19 „turn outs” tho and odds to call it. Am I wrong?

Jam pre. You pick up 6.5 BBs and increase your stack by 38% when it folds around. Should see a ton of folds from cu which is prolly dead money. KQcc plays really well against a call range at times.

You get some better hands like the trashier Ax suited hands to fold from ep.

Think flatting is way too passive. Sure it’s gross when you run into better hands but do you hate flips against say JJ or 10-10 here? Not really. Is it a tad spewy to jam? Maybe but with dead money from cutoff- think you go with it. I think flatting is way too passive. You set up a nice squeeze from the blinds + are most likely not getting paid more if you hit K or Q on kxx or Qxx flops unless they somehow have KJ or QJ Q-10 suited type stuff.

KQcc just performs really well when going all in. Also getting a hand like 77 to fold is very nice. 6.5 BBs to pick up without showdown is juicy
