Just caught up a year's posts. Some awesome news in there... lacky on a sailboat, Suzzer playing live AND writing a book, and children growing up. Feels great to remember those fraught days of pure oker.
Got here from Instagram. Brynn Kenny has crossed $70 million in tourney winnings. Now normally I celebrate such poker success, but just can't do it. Sunday million, SB v BB, I have c40bb, I 2.2x, he 3 bets to 6, I call w J9o. Flop JT9 rainbow. Check, bet, jam. He has J8 and hits the straight. All fine, I bust and he then spends 30s telling the table what a moron I was and how badly I played the hand. Still rankles after c15 years.
Otherwise all well, although now living in Lima. Still have my place in Arequipa, still have a bed, booze and board offer open for you all ❤️
Went back to the UK for an army reunion, recreated our platoon photo from Sandhurst.
And we pushed the boat out for the coronation. Invited 20 people for a free lunch! I'd just had a hernia operation and couldn't manage to fasten my trousers

I was in Naples for one night in September. Got sick from food or the water from the hotel sink. Threw up throughout my long day of flying back to LA. Fun.

Fwiw I'm still in the gambling world. Happy for the last C4 years at Gambling.com Group. Minor bit of soul searching a few weeks ago, I turned down a job offer to be head of poker content at one of our competitors. Decided to stick w GDC and carry on working on casinos.com where I look after the Canadian geo.
