Succession - New HBO show
Premiere episode was last night. Overall really solid show with solid acting and writing. Definitely a few moments that were painful (in a good way, as in heartbreaking). All of the characters are very well developed imo. They all have redeeming qualities while simultaneously being despicable in their own ways.

Shiv, Roman, and Tom all won last night and the show won for best TV series drama. Kind of cleaned up.
I think I agreed with pretty much all of the winners actually. I’d have preferred a few different ones but I can’t disagree with the choices.

honestly absurd that succession had 4 lead acting noms (including one to a guy who died at the start of ep 3 of 10 or whatever) and 4 supporting noms ... there are other shows jfc. i'd be sick if i was one of these ppl starring in show on screen like 90% of the time
Coming up on a year since the finale aired on May 28th. This show was elite. Loved it. Got better every season somehow. Ended at the right time without dragging out.
