THE WIRE (discussion)
Just got done watching the WIRE. Came in knowing it was known as the GOAT show or one of the best shows and while I am not sure how to feel about that, I will say each and every ****ing episode , every season kept me entertained. I still need to think on how I would rank the seasons.1 might be the best or worst depending on how I look at it. but as far as shows goes, the show was CONSISTENTLY good through and through. Will say easily, the best writing and dialogue in a TV show ever, If that's why its the GOAT show, then I can see why.
What are your thoughts on THE WIRE and how would you rank the seasons?

Wanted to rewatch, but it’s not on any of my streaming platforms. Discovered people have remixed assorted scenes into standalone episodes of sorts.
Here’s one that shows McNulty’s revenge against the department for putting him on the boat:
Fun way to rewatch. If you prefer the gangsters there are similar remixes of various other characters.
Also yes, Stringer is the rake.
Agreed, but I think Six Feet Under may have the best series finale of all time due to the sheer emotion it evoked out of me. I was legit balling my eyes out, as a fully grown male. Perhaps the only other time I cried during a movie/tv show was "I am Legend."
one of HBO strongest shows to date
maybe rewatch it in the next year or two
I'm with you on SFU; its finale might never be topped. To me, the next best is The Shield, and after that the drop off is large, although admittedly I've watched a lot less TV than most who post here.
The Good Place has a GOAT level finale!
SFU is one show I haven't really touched for a re-watch because of how emotionally charged it is. But I agree it is great television.
