Succession is definitely better, while Banshee is more fun.
Seems like Max isn't an issue, so I'd recommend Watchmen or The Last of Us (with a new season coming up soon).
Gonna start a new series later. Trying to decide between Banshee and Succession. Anyone with thoughts on either?
Two completely different series.
Banshee is a suspend belief action show with hot women and tits, but also some really good plot development until the final season.
Succession is a masterpiece of writing and character acting, ties up well in the final season and keeps you guessing.
If I had to choose between the two to rewatch, it would be Succession.
no tits in succession though, better not risk it and setup picture in picture with the hub if you choose that one
I like Succession more but Banshee is such a wild watch that you can fly through it pretty quick. Succession isn’t really great for casual viewing in the same way. On a rewatch, sure. But it’s quite involved viewing.
Whew that last episode of the Pitt. I was relieved when it ended.
When Frank walked out of that burn patient room and asked about lunch was crazy. Damn that is some serious compartmentalizing.
The Silo is probably best watched as a binge after the season is over. Had I watched it week to week, it would have been head scratching slow. But as a binge it was fine. Google says it is renewed for a season 3 & 4 and season 3 shooting is underway. But there is no way I am watching it week to week.
I watched season 1 and 2 in last couple weeks. I really liked it, but could be because I really like Rebecca Ferguson.
I wish they hadn't made it so dark so often, hard for me to see it all.
When Season 3/4 come out, I do not know if I will watch every week or do it all at once :(

Succsesion really SUCKS. A lot of people think its great but it really SUCKS. All hateable characters with HUGE plot holes. It's as if the writers for each season hadn't even watched the previous season? But it has a bunch of snappy dialog to hopefully make up for the miserable hole filled story line. Lots of cool rich bitch houses and set pieces but the plot is ludicrous. Bad show.
On the other hand Banshee is one of the most awesome TV series ever created! Awesome characters who are 100% badass! More awesome action scenes and badass action conflicts than can be imagineed. I just rewatched it a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome! I realized after rewatching that I had never seen the last season (season 4) before? I had watched and again rewatched the first 3 seasons but then i moved and didn't have Max anymore. I have had Max again for years but never realized I hadn't seen season 4? Season 4 sucked in comparison to the first 3. But even so BANSHEE is aweome and Succession blows.

Yeah, but didn't you say you hate the Cubs? I don't know... Seriously though, I love this response, and I'm gonna go with Banshee. Didn't start either of them yet. Ended up watching Moonstruck for the first time the other night... I have thoughts.

Oh yeah, the Cubs SUCK! But I am from the South Side of Chicago and the Cubs sucking is in my blood. I don't believe there is a greater rivalry than Sox/Cubs. Nothing else comes close, it's very regional but intense. Yankees/Mets, Yankees/Red Sox, Angels/Dodgers, Dodgers/Giants, nah. You gotta be from here to really understand but it is very real.
A few episodes into Mo and Colin from Accounts and really like both. Would give the edge to Colin but check both out.

We are complete opposites, lol. I really liked Succession and hated Banshee, other than, you know, boobs. I also didn't watch the last season of Banshee, but that was because it SUCKS.

My exact take. I never once got into Succession. Had no idea which character I was supposed to enjoy.
Complaining about the characters in Succession being unlikeable is like complaining that water is wet. They're all meant to be loathsome. The debatable thing is who you love to hate most.
