Advice whether to stortstack plo5

Both are good options. I'm not a big fan, but if someone knows how to play a 40bb stack it can be very profitable, and allow them to overrealize equity against multiple deeper-stacked opponents.

I still think its important to have a solid understanding of 100bb+ though; deep-stacked plo is a completely different animal and where the true experts show their fangs.

Totally table dependent. We've got a couple of guys who will BI 'short' to try and run it up, but if they fail to connect on the first couple of tries then they convert to a full stack.

We had a guy buy in for $100 .. 27 TIMES .. and the last one got run up to $6100. He would've had another 1800 on top but got scared to make a 'snap' Turn call now that his stack was 'so deep'.

IMO if you have a table of guys who just never fold, then I wouldn't mind short-stacking since you'll have less at risk and potentially get a 4x. You certainly could make an assessment of that in the other direction as well as long as your pockets are deep enough that day. GL
