FLO-Hi A233
Recently started playing a local FLO 4/8 with full kill, hi only, have not been playing this game (usually LO8) much but the games have been good.
Hero: $200 (covers)
V1: ~$50 short stack
V2: $100
V3: $100
Hero: MP with A233 nut spades
V1: 2 bets (trying to get all in)
Hero: 3 bets light trying to thin the field
Ends up capped at 5 bets (very common in this game especially when a short stack is trying to get all in)
Flop: 2h3h5c
V1 Bet, Calls around
Turn: 3s
Hero bet, V1 all in for less than 2 bets, call, call.
River: 5h
V2 bet, Hero calls
V2 shows 64o
V1 shows quad 5's
In hindsight most of this hand was played poorly, just a couple things I want to confirm.
a. This is a poor starting hand for a hi-only game (obv great for O8). Therefore if played should not be raised.
b. This should be a turn raise to start a side pot (I was hoping that larger stacks actually had a full house).
c. This should be a river raise as well since I have the third best and in a pot this size flushes/straights/underfulls will call.

Don’t play this hand. Raise with quads.
