DAILY/WEEKLY PREFLOP DISCUSSION

Hi guys

First of all i try to challenge and discipline myself, i try to make a journal here Discipline & Consistent

I try to improve my PLO games day after day.
I got no budget to get gto solver apps for preflop or postflop. and check if my action is good or a bad play.
and i got no budget for the regular coaching itselfs
so i decided to do an old-school learning, posting hand in the forum and discuss it with other members.
but it’s sucks in this PLO forum, not much hand discussion anymore. I know some of us like to discuss hand, but there is not much active member to discuss with. so i will try my best to post some hands to be discuss.

I will post a routine hands, for Preflop and Postflop. at least 7 hands per week.
i will comment my thought first, and maybe someone will help me discuss what should i do better from that hand.
you can also help me with post some hands here, i will comment what i think about that hand.
i hope we bring back the hands discussion like before.

For PREFLOP, I think I will try not to ask much of common spots (SRP 100bb stack, because it’s common and not much to talk about) so i will try asking some random hands, like multiway, limp hands, cash drop, akward stack size, deep stack size or some intertesting hands

If you guys want to discuss some of Postflop hands, feel free to check the POSTFLOP threads

*A like on this post or in my comment is much appreciated.
*A comment and advice also more appreciated.
Best Regards

Cashdrop preflop, i think most of player will limp some weak hand and pot all the opening range from EP and MP. I think my hand is not good for multiway, but good for heads up. it also have decent high suited.
so i decided to pot this, and will fold if get 3bet.
or maybe i should overlimp?

Here in 10bb Cashdrop,
I have AQJ6ss, the 6 is a dangler that is disconected, and it's not a suited to the Ace.
I don't think my hand is good for limping, it's not so good multiway pots, and i can't call a raise too.
So i decide to open to get the fold, and fold to 3bet.
should i just open limp this hands or even fold pre?

simple hand today. it's akward stack size, and bet sizing.
Co and Btn have like 60-80bb, and they got like 40vpip. so i know they loose
Co decide to minraise 2bb, and BTN call.
I got decent hand, and I decided to flat from SB.
I know some of it might only 3bet or fold here. i don't want to 3bet, because opponent might be sticky, and i will be OOP with big pot. so i just flat to keep the pot small. I got double suited Ace, and connected wheel hand.
So, should i Just fold, flat, or maybe 3bet here?

fold in all positions, u could possibly limp or raise the button depending on who the blinds are, though i would prefer a limp with this double suited trash instead of building a pot against ppl who are likely to 3bet or never fold their blinds. most of your two pairs will never be top 2, the 43 and wheel draws are garbage. the 4hi diamonds isn't reliable and it makes it a one way hand with AJs as its top player. bleh i pass and move on but to each their own. read somewhere these type of double suited hands in plo hi with a suited ace and one broadway and two wheels usually makes second best hands at best, something like that. it would be better if the jack was suited.

good luck!

Thanks mate, thank you for your input and your tought. you are the first one. thank you mate, GL to you too

some of akward stack size, I got AKsJsJ, it's bad suit.
I don't think it's good for multiway, so i decide to 3-bet. to get the position advantage, and avoid mulitway spot.
If i get 4-bet, i just fold here.
I saw again, i think i need suited to A even to call or 3bet.
wdy think? should i fold here? or 3-bet bluff?

There's nothing wrong with a 3bet style but for now as you're learning try only 2betting and flatting. Work on your post flop game. Big difference getting to flop in 3b or 2b pot. In 3b, you're usually committing if u catch a piece. In 2b you have to be more cautious. Even before trying only 2b and flatting, try a limp only strategy.

If given the option to 3bet with aaxx where you can get in 2/3 of your stack hu or 1/4 three ways, then do so as you can jam any flop for pot.

But for now, work on postflop with money to play
