UTG: $154.30 (77 bb)
BU: $279.89 (140 bb)
SB (Hero): $431.98 (216 bb)
BB: $213.50 (107 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($3) Hero is SB with A A 9 T
UTG raises to $6, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets to $20, BB calls $18, UTG calls $14

Flop: ($60) 4 8 2 (3 players)
Hero bets $20, BB raises to $118.40, UTG folds, SB (Hero) folds

Total pot: $100 (Rake: $1.60)
BB wins $98.40

both villains are noted as low poker iq. main villain easily has top pair + nfd or even top pair + any fd in his flop raising range, which leads me to continue with my bdfd and str8 draw and what's possibly the best hand. but oop checking and calling is pretty ugly imo. and if i jam ill be flipping at best i think.

wondering if anyone continues or is this a standard bet fold?

open to checking flop or sizing up flop

thanks for your time,

I don't like the 20 bet - think it gives incentive for villains to call super wide and we only have 1 backdoor FD. I think x/f vs bet/folding 40 is close.

I think small cbet is fine, the board doesn't interact a lot with their hands either. Happily folding to this raise.

just posted a hand similar to this, good to hear some folks in the x/f camp

you're also OOP vs 2 players on a somewhat connected board

Think its a pretty good check or I may bet/fold but I’m going closer to 80% pot blocking wheel draws etc.

With bdfd and some straights too maybe check call vs 1 is the play.

With the A :spades: in your hand, this would be a good bet. Without it, meh

It’s 3 ways on a terrible board for your range. The high vpip guys are going to hit something to continue or just float you cause you made that easy. I would rather check call a small bet and check fold to a big bet.
