Number of buy ils for Plo5
Hi all Small question for the specialists of Plo4 and Plo5 because strangely I have not found any answer to this question anywhere.
Given that the buy-in ratio for a given cash game limit between NLHE and Plo 4 is 2 (for example for 100 buy-ins in NL50, you would need 200 in Plo50), what is the buy-in ratio between Plo4 and plo5 since the variance is higher in Plo5? Is it 2 too, 1.5?
The only answers I could get are that the standard deviation of the Plo5 is about 1.5 times higher than that of the Plo4, can we transfer this to the number of buy-ins?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

Hey!
I doubt the formula from your second sentence has to be taken so strictly, it is more of a principle.
PLO5 has indeed much more variance than PLO, but requiring a bankroll of 400bb seems a bit bananas...

Winrates are also higher in PLO5.
A better question is how much variance can you handle? A lot of players have a proper bankroll, but give-up after their first 50 buy-in downswing.
