Was unsure about this hand at PLO50
So I was at a fishy table and it limped to me so

BB decided to raise and no brainer call - Checks to me and I bet and he raises

My Note was he doesn't get a lot money in unless he has the nuts - so i'm pretty sure he has QQ or a big wrap here. I'm 37% against dry QQ and a favorite against a wrap. I ended up calling and winning but wasn't sure if I made the right move. This was probably just a cooler, but i'm on the fence about it. Thoughts?

There is also merit to just folding pre - which would avoided the whole situation........ i think villian played the hand well, I mean he flopped the nuts and got it all in.

Would you be able to show an actual hand history or write it out rather than this format which I don't think is well-suited to this forum
'There is also merit to just folding pre'
Nope, both decisions are closer to a raise than a fold.

Do you see a disconnect here? He got a lot of money in pre without the nuts. There was in fact a 50% stack utg limper threatening to limp-reraise and he still potted. Your hand is a monster against any range and probably has the odds to get it allin against this exact hand. You need to be up against both a better made hand AND the nut flush draw for you not to have odds to get it in. You are blocking top two sets. This is again not a thread, unless you want to discuss the first preflop decision which i could see being interesting
Would raise this pre - it's well connected but more importantly you have position so raising the stakes is the way to go. I don't see ever doing anything postflop other than bet/calling
You say he only shoves with the nuts but hypothesize he might have a wrap on a two tone board? I don’t get it.
Raising pre is reasonable but not mandatory. Not sure why the rest needs to be discussed.

No - There is no other way to post hands from Globalpoker.

Both hands are nutted - big wrap or top set. I think my call off was fine but I was on the fence

I don't have a ton of experiance with limped pots. I know sometimes it's better to just over limp behind with your playable but weaker hands. I felt like I flopped too well to fold as well. GTO folds my combo of hand if EP raises and CO calls - but there is no solution for limp + call.
You have 37% here. You need around 40 %. And this is the worst case scenario.
Raise pre.
Your hand wants to play a raised pot since it hits hard enough.

GTO raises what? 16 % and calls like 10% CO. Limps typically come from 50 % range. Against that range you want to raise. You want to hit boards like these and play for stacks.
You hit top two and a 2nd nfd, limpers hit worse two pairs and weaker flush draws. Make money.
