I really like the way you played this pre flop getting the SPR so low with this type of hand against one opponent.

On the flop I'd check with the intention of calling and if the flop gets checked through bet the turn. This guys range is almost unlimited and betting the flop lets him fold hands you beat instead of bluffing.

This isn't the type of situation you want to be looking for "good folds".


If you check will he bet his whole range? If he does, then x/c, if he doesn't then you prob have to x/f. Really no point in jamming yourself other than protection, but I'm sure he'll bet his gutshots or better so no point in betting.

If he bets gut shots or better it seems there are so many hands the OP beats that check/call on the flop seems the best line.


Too much in the middle. Just stick it in and pray. Probably not an instabet as you sell top set better by taking a pause and considering slowplaying. He can call worse hands here and you probably have enough equity versus his calling range.
