I think you can pot the turn. You may be behind but some of the hands you are behind to (two pair type hands) may fold anyway. If they don't you probably have close to 12 outs (I don't think a set calls your flop bet).
Before the flop I like the initial call in a game where there is a lot of limping (my games often get like this) but with such a disconnected hand I tend to do a fair amount of limp folding on the rare occasion it gets raised pot or close to pot. I think this is one of those hands.
I probably just pot the turn vs. a LAG, especially if you have a tighter image.
Have to jam with an SPR of 1 - you will see a good amount of KQ but it really doesn't matter.
Don't like the flop bet or sizing.
As played just cram it in, he doesn't have to fold jt98 very often for this to be a winning play for you
I was trying to put pfr in a bad spot with reasonable equity.
Jam. I don't love the flop play. You just don't push enough equity or cause enough trouble 4 ways while you're not really blocking anything else than NFD.
If you had a board pair to go with it or QQ and took the same line, fiiine.
Pre is atrocious
I would raise pre assuming large rake at low stakes. Multiway for 10 each is better than mw for 5 (2?) but raising gets us well past the rake cap and our hand and stack depth tolerates it well.
As played, I would check flop but like betting better if we had a J/T/QQ or better secondary draw or were hu ip instead of mp mw. But then I'd also use a smaller size. I think selection is more important than sizing, generally, and neither of these mistakes is terribly big.
As played, turn is a stomach churning shove as lag pro is just gonna play it better when we check.
This is time rake in Texas. The typical bring in is 5.
Some of the limpers are short stacked loose passives that jam when you force them to put in a big chunk of their stack. Which doesn’t seem ideal with this hand.
i would limp/fold pre. this hand isnt connected enough to play a bloated pot OOP multiway. But Ive been struggling hard lately so idk, could def be wrong lol
Edit*
AQ8[7-4] would be bottom of my limp/call range
Can you elaborate?
I know the feeling but this is variance talking. Pre is a clear raise and as played pre call is fine.
This is top 10 % hand.
