500BB live JJ88 huge decision?

Typical low level Holdem NL live game with dealer choice. 9 players. Game is 1-2
Most of the table doesn't believe in raising PF in Omaha or folding for that matter. 2-3 players do raise sometimes. usually at least 8 players see single raised flop. 4-5 see the flop if there is a 3b.

Hero is +1 with 1000. 2 bigger stacks behind. few 250bb stacks begind and few <100bb stack.
UTG limp. Hero +1 pot to 11 with JdJh8d8c
every one call. BB with 120 in his stack 3b to 91.
UTG fold.

BB range is probably all overpairs.
Hero?

UTG folds
In game hero decides to iso raise to 240.
folds to the LP shorty with 180 who calls AI. His range is pretty wide. BTN who covers and is the best player in the game takes a while and repot it to AI.
BB obviously call off his remaining stack
Hero?

you have a non-linear hand, or not a "smooth" flopping hand like QJT9,AKJT,etc. flat vs the 91. multiway is OK with this hand bc 1. were going multiway anyway its live plo, 2. your very likely could be iso'ing vs a much stronger range.

so its 760 to win?? 1600 ish? which will end up with a main pot of 480 ( beat 3 opps), 1st side of 240( beat 2 opps) and and second sidepot of 1500 ( only beat BU)?

if BU is best player in game he is likely assuming you block BB AAxx by holding AA yourself or some sort of ABBM type hand. ( AKKT,AKKJ,AAKT,etc etc) so its more likely he has medium cards. QJT9,KQJT,T987,9876, etc. which your ahead of quite a bit equity wise holding big time blockers to that range.

unless BB is known to jam any 4 when pot is big enough, then BU could have ss or rainbow AAxx that wanted to go cheap to flop bc he knows if he raises it will go super multiway anyway and he has position. if theres a chance he could be holding AAxx i think its ok to fold, if he NEVER flats AAxx there then you have to call it off and pray. lol

I would fold to the BB raise of 91 and a ton of players behind. As played I think btn has AA almost always and you should still fold.

I would overlimp the first time, you have an easy set mine.

Agree with this almost 100%.

Even in late position I wouldn't raise this hand against many callers *. If limp reraised (which usually means aces in this sort of game) I'd rather have a rundown of some reasonable sort. The set your hoping to mine here against a large field is primarily a set of jacks which IMO is borderline for pure set mining against a very large field. The single suited jack high flush adds little multiway and making a straight you can bet hard with a jack/eight is extremely rare if that.

PLO is higher variance than holdem but plays like the OPs make it even higher than it has to be.

* Edit to say I have no problem playing a single raised pot with lots of money behind.

overlimp camp. 9handed is a lot players too get through
