DBBP - 1 nut flop but facing pot, pot, pot.
$2/3/6 NLHE w/ PLO DBBP every dealer change.
9 handed.
H MP ~$525 9d9cTd7c
Flop ($90)
2s Qc 8s
8h 7s Js
Flop nuts on bottom and gutter on top. Plus double block the 9 on the straight board and the gutter draw.
X, X, X, X, H X, v1 pot $90, V2 pot $270, folds back and V3 on Hβs immediate right shoves for $405.
V1 & V2 are good reasonable players. V3 has no idea how to play PLO let alone DBBP PLO.
H? Both boards having the spade flush draw helps H as it takes out from each other. Double blocking the 9 helps H also. So fold or shove?

I like your flop check.
Someone with the flush draw, especially the nut flush draw, has the Christmas gift chance to scoop both boards and has the highest equity by far. With 2-3 people showing this much interest, you have problems. The top board is a disconnected Q82 with a flush draw. Anyone with a set on the top board would likely play cautiously unless they have a flush draw too. So it feels like all of this action is because you are sharing a straight on the bottom board.
Without writing out my long crazy DBBP stuff, if feel like at best you have 25% equity 4 way against V1, V2 and V3. And you could be doing worst that break even, so fold. Again I like that you started off with a check to lose the minimum.
Folding and I doubt it’s close. You’re often trying to hang on for a quarter.
Maybe the gutter makes it close.
I just let it go, unfortunately. You are so easily beaten by the river on both boards, and you might have only a quarter now.
pat yourself on the back for not betting flop and muck with a smile. lol
Interesting spot, I think betting flop is probably better than check. Letting it go as played is fine. Letting it go vs the $270 if V3 didn't shove is far less clear.

Easy fold, not even worth a discussion.
βNutsβ in BP is not a str or fl, itβs top boat/quads, stuff like that.
You can easily loose your βnutsβ on turn or river, and have nothing on the other side.
But:
Pls donβt tell anyone, Iβm printing money in BP pots bc people donβt get it ;-)
ez fold. On board where you have the current nuts you can be outdrawn on 1000 ways. On 1st board you have 3 outs. You need more raw equity given the massive action in front of you.
