Again more detail. Are you sb or bb? Please include stacks even when they're not in play.
Flop check is good. You don't have range advantage and not much in the way of improvement when behind and aren't much of a favourite against anything than say QQT9. With range advantage, he's more likely to bet, so we have a clear option of calling once (depending on bet-size) and then seeing what's what on the turn.
OTT, with the A spades in our hand, more potential outs when behind to 2p, and a flush draw that we can get value from (say KK with spades), I like a bet. Again with no outs whatsoever we are delighted to be able to have such an easy fold. This should be somewhat easy to balance as a decent chunk of our continuing range on the turn will have at least one 7 in our hand.
We all are
Stack sizes are important more than you think.
Relative position is very important also.
This hand could go either way whether it is a call or 3b, but you have to give more details of a hand if u wanna clear answer.
