[PLO5] Too nitty not to raise top boat?

Raise all day long .
minclick or pot? I feel if he's good he gets to fold 8s full quite easily
Seems like a mandatory raise, especially since 56cc is a lot more likely to xr flop. I don't see a lot of value in min-raise vs pot.

Sure but this is small pot and villain has lead for a full psb and we have the 4th nuts in 5cplo with all the better hands possible (ok 8888 quite unlikely) and not many worse hands that both value-bet and call our raise and honestly I'm not convinced we need to be balancing a blurr-raising range in this spot so all in all i'm probably ok with just a flat
Fifth nuts: JT clubs, 106 clubs, 65 clubs, 88 are the 4 that beat us. I would not raise if we were deep enough that V could raise back but at your stack depth the question becomes do we know V well enough to feel he will call a raise with 87 or 98?
It was a tough opponent. Him betting full pot is going to give the most honest result from me, he should (easily) fold 87 imo to a raise, like, okay, I have bluff raised the naked Tc here once in a blue moon, but I really have very few bluffs raising a pot sized bet, so I thought he wouldn't call with 8s full... but it does let him off easy and makes me look like a nut peddling nit... making it easier to bluff raise rivers in the future

Given your read he will only call if you lose an easy decision. And you are right looking like you are a nut peddling nit is great if you are actually not a nut peddling nit.
I probably look like a loose nut farmer... small value bets loose pre... not sure how to exploit that image 😃
Raise vs block, call vs pot. Maybe vs certain opponent's click back is ok but I think potting here vs pot is a pretty large mistake.
I was only thinking of the 56 and jt combos and completely forgot about T6; I agree that it's not a mandatory raise anymore.
