Best available course to learn how to play in super multiway low stakes live games?
The title basically. In the past I used PLO mastermind for 5 card Omaha, but I found it didn't really help me as very little of it covered adjustments for loose multiway games.
Now I'm looking to find a good PLO course.
I tried crush live pokers PLO content, but I didn't think it was great to be honest.
Is upswings PLO course more geared towards content like this
Thanks

Also, any good, inexpensive resources for double board bomb pots?
I recommend coach Jhon , dumbotrunk.
He's an expert in live plo 5 cards .
On this I'd look at Bart Hanson's recent material on double board PLO bomb pots but it's mostly for 4-card PLO. I've always found him to be a top split pot player. Some of it is free on YouTube and on crushlivepoker.com.

Good question. I find the online 6-max orientation focusing on pots that end up heads up after the flop to be only moderately useful for live play at the small to medium limits (I mostly play in 4-card PLO games with $5 big blinds that often have straddles). To me the best information can often be found in this forum which has many threads on loose and live play. I have taken some courses on run it once dot com which do help with fundamentals but was surprised to see their forums not to be very active on live PLO.
Also curious about upswings PLO content.
Regarding crush live pokers PLO content could you add more thoughts? It does seem to focus on opponents who play about as poorly as mine. Also curious about your impression of terp versus their past coaches.
Mastermind has a live section that’s decent and now has 3 and 4 multi-way post flop solves.
There’s no “theory” to multi-way. Solver plays wayyyyy too tight. I believe once you get 2-3 calls preflop, solver plays a 5-8% 3b or fold strategy in every position outside button or BB. While profitable, it doesn’t take into account live PLO players making -50bb/100 or more egregious errors post flop and therefore doesn’t maximize EV.
What’s best to study is how to adjust your preflop range for maximum EV in a passive multi-way preflop/postflop environment and what kind of hands are strong enough to bet in multi-way scenarios and why. Mastermind does a good job of that if you look through the sections.
I’ve tried both Upswing and RIO and while both have excellent theory you can extrapolate from, neither specifically have Live PLO sections last I looked.
