Bluffing with blockers
Hi all,
I've just had an interesting situation in a PLO100 game on Pokerstars:
EP folds
MP opens to 3.5BB
I call on CO with AsTsTc9d
BTN 3-bets (184 BB behind)
MP calls (300BB behind)
I call (120BB behind)
Flop comes Ad9c8c. I have top two pair
Flop goes check-check-check.
Turn comes a Kh - Ad9c8c Kh.
MP bets 22.8BB (slightly less than 50% pot), I call, BTN folds.
River comes Js - Ad9c8cKh Js
MP checks.
What would you have done?
Sorry, if I don't stick to any conventions. I'm new to this forum and it's my first thread.

Pre seems close both times.
On the turn you're toast and should fold.
As played I probably bet $70 otr.
Yeah, that was my thought as well. Probably should've folded on the turn. I potted river blocking all possible straights and got called. :-/
Insane preflop call by MP to a 3b sandwiched between you and 3bettor whildeep. If you knew he was this loose I prefer a 3b with this hand to isolate him IP
When checked to IP i like a half pot stab on this board. You have Top 2, club and straight blockers, and 3b should in theory have very few checks on this board and in practice, almost no one is protecting their checking range at these stakes with a hand like top set with a club draw.
As played i prolly fold turn. Just not really drawing to any nutted hands. You are in bluff catch mode and this is prolly a 0 EV bluff catcher. I overfold these at these stakes unless I have a specific read. If we do call we just check river. We want to get to showdown as cheap and quickly as possible. Hands prolly too strong to bluff and not strong enough to value bet. I do expect to see a lot of shitty KK here from villain tho.
I consider 3! pre-flop for sure.
As played, think the turn is a fold (especially since population is likely to underbluff here), and river feels like close to a mandatory bluff with the double T blocker.
