Omaha 8 Tourney Tips Please
I'm trying to get better at low limit ($1-3) Omaha 8 Tourneys on Ladbrokes. The games are very good. I can play the game reasonably well, and am currently 'playing by the book', but I need a bit more of an edge so I'm more than break even and able to play higher limits. I might see if they have Double up SnGs, but am concentrating on MTTS right now. I was killing it the other day early on but it just slipped away from me due to lack of playable hands/flops. I'm not too great at playing a full stack! Good with a low stack though, which often gets me in the money. Anyway, how can I do better? I'm classifying players according to style with a colour code, and I'm applying common sense to starting hands and the flop. I check previous hands immediately when it's relevant and learn a lot from that. Does anyone please have any good suggestions on how to improve? Many thanks.

You could run monker for some sims maybe? Honestly haven't played around with monker and hi low so just spit balling here a bit lol.
I dont fire O/8 almost ever but fiance does and does very well with hi low mtts also. One thing she helped me with was pointing out this isn't a holdem tournament - seems common sense but i think many play them like such as in afraid to blind down to 2bb/3bb etc, ignoring the far different dynamics between formats. Prob not super helpful advice but ya maybe look at monker if you're planning on putting heavy volume into these.
Cheers for that. Monker looks useful when needed if I can figure out how it works.
I don't mind blinding down to half a big blind if I have to when the antes are big and I'm climbing the final table money ladder. The pots are usually big enough to make this a sensible option. I saw a player pick up around 4500 chips for less than 800 the other day!
