Study routine for preflop

Whats your study routine for preflop spots in PLO? Do you just drilll hands in tools like PLO Trainer or do you also other stuff e.g. excel sheets with hand categories that you memorize?

Currently I just drill hands but there are so many variations I can just go by feeling and don't make any real progress :(
