6card PLO standard deviation and experiences
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has any numbers on the SD of 6 card plo over a large sample and opinions on if its worth playing. The UK pretty much 100% spreads PLO6 live but I was wondering if downswings can even be withstood due to how large the standard deviation would be.

Well 4 card is about 150bb/100 STD
Iād put 5 card around 200
So 6 card prolly around 250-300
PLO 6 is worth playing just because of insanely soft the fields tend to be. Your winrate should be much higher than normal due to this and the standard deviations will be lower. I think its also overstated how bad the variance for 6 card will be by people who don't even play the game and just assume 6 card = all in fest = high variance.
I have roughly 80,000 hands played in the last month and half online and experience very little downward variance in a very soft field. I'd estimate my winrate to be > 20bb/100 though as on WSOP.com they don't give you stats/huds.
