Looking for good educational material on plo
Looking for good educational material on plo, preferably for free on youtube or somewhere else:
1. Analysis of hands in plo in the style of crushlivepoker, i.e. analysis of hands that people send
2. Live games with good explanations

Check both Phil Galfond and JNandez YouTube channels for plenty of content of play and explain of online games
You won’t find very much good live PLO analysis not behind a paywall. Most analysis on YouTube for live gameplay shows a clear lack of theory understanding and proper exploitation from the vlogger and is more in the style of “this is what I feel like is the best play given my experiences”
There are some good live courses for PLO tho behind a paywall at both PLO Mastermind and then Dylan Weismann’s Live PLO Course.
For theory I’d stick with PLO Mastermind to start. RIO and Upswing courses are good too but very “heavy” and require dedication. I’d switch to Upswing next once you clear Mastermind and then finish it off with RIO. Then I’d go back to mastermind at the very end because I like their software the best.
It’s very important to get a baseline. Understanding what to do in theory will help you immensely at live PLO. It’s almost like clairvoyance lol.
Start with Mastermind lite. It’s cheap and a great starter program.
As far as YouTube, very few I watch seriously to learn.

Then there is the entertainment/live factor I follow. These are good to understand an average/below average recs thought process and see player pool tendencies so you can establish an exploit base pattern. I wouldn’t take any of their analysis too seriously though and it seems they don’t inherently understand GTO or understand very little of it/misapply it quite a bit.
Pokerjesus/Anthony Martino (example of how every low limit passive limp fish plays)
Champion Poker Live (avg live 5-5 and higher PLO game environment with loose aggro/passive whales)
Dakotabaggett (avg live for profit plo player)
Donkfishpoker (avg live nitrock you should never give action too lol)
GMoneypoker (avg live for profit PLO player)
JoeyPigtails (avg live low limit passive limp fish)
JSickPoker (avg live for profit PLO player)
Kakitee (creative high stakes PLO proven winner but prolly the definition of a misreg)
OmahaBros (tight euro nits stealing all our jerbs)
PLOPokerCoaching (decent midstakes online player)
PLOProfessor (the whale you want at every table you ever sit at)
Tiltyfish (decent online midstakes player)
Zefa (ABSOLUTE CRUSHER OF SOULS AND ENDGAME BOSS)

Love this list! Agree with almost all of it.
I am just curious, why do you label PLOProfessor as whale? He definitely is a bit too splashy, and anyone that knows a thing or two can exploit some of his leaks, but it somehow seems that he wins. Or is he in just very good games or not showing the full picture?
Winning at live PLO is not hard if you understand basic concepts. He’s an absolute whale though and a player you want at your table.
Best part is, he’s actually teaching other people to play just like him. I support him based on that alone. Love that there are more of him running around on the felt lol.
