$10+ OTB PLO (Hand Reviews)
Posting for a friend who I am trying to help but wants some unbiased responses to a few hand histories.
Game: $10-$25 OTB blind game with optional Straddles 4card or 5card dealers choice (all hands described are 4 card)
Hero is shortest stack on table, all Villians cover in all hands.
1: (~$400) Ac8cKd4d calls $50 raise in LP 3 ways, flop QhJdTd, V1 leads for $100 Hero raises to $280 leaving ~$100 behind, V1 calls, heads up to turn 7c, V1 jams, Hero calls.
2. (~$500) AJTs3s calls $15 in EP, 5 ways to flop JT5r, Hero checks second to act, checked around, turn 3. Hero bets $50, 2 callers, river 3. V1 first to act pots. Hero calls.
3. (~$500) AhTh25 calls $25 in MP, LP straddle checks option (straddling the mandatory button blind is allowed), 4 ways to flop Jh7h9c, Hero leads second to act for $50, 3 callers. Turn 4c, checks around. River 2s. Hero?
If anyone sees anything from these that they could comment on (starting hand selection, sizing, lines) it would be appreciated.

Hand 1 it's a mistake to raise any size other than allin. The only time I'd consider just calling is with nfd rather than 2nfd, and everyone else is deep.
Hand 2 preflop is bad; if its ds we should be raising and if just ss to J it's a fold. Bet flop as played. Call river as played.
Hand 3 don't bet flop. Our hand not strong enough to build a pot. River would be an awful bluff.
Thank you for the response.
He is a short handed NLHE player who suffers from fps and wants to bring his βI play the playersβ mindset to a very very high variance game where spr drops below 2 preflop in many cases. I was flabbergasted he left money behind with the nuts smh.
He sounds like a standard delusional fish who thinks he knows the correct play and still deviates the wrong way from that
Hands 2 and 3 fold pre.
1 I don’t get the difference between 280 and all in but you might be missing value if a diamond comes and he check folds turn.
2 call of course.
3 I wouldn’t bet flop or river.
These hands are all 20bb and less deep. We should be seeing 0 flops wo our entire stack or the majority of it already in the pot pf
Hand 1 aipf
Hand 2/3 fold pf
1 - good but your not deep enough to not jam. Just put it all in next time
2 - fold pre. As played is fine
3 - fold pre. This hand is not good enough to play 20bb deep. You need to be something like $2500-$5000 deep. Make sure you readjust your ranges to your stack depth given the straddles. As played, Given a limped pot and super wide ranges Iβd just bet small targeting the fold single pair and missed portion of their range as an exploit since we have no showdown value whatsoever.
