3b pot oop line check

2/2 live 5 to call 8 handed

V is a bit aggro sometimes vs others but haven't seen him out of line too much. Not much 3betting. Opens somewhat wide.

Hero is uber nit.

Effective only 220ish

H in utg opens AsQJJs to 15
V 3bets to 50 in +1
H calls, feels sick if V has AAxx, we might be dominated? Can we really fold such good hand?

Pot 104
Flop KQJr
H checks V check

Turn T
H pots V calls with very little behind.

Riv 5
We ship, V calls

I would check turn. He likely didn’t flop a set or he would’ve bet, so he often has broadway or air on the turn. Against that range we do best by letting him bet.

This is a pretty easy fold pf from these positions with these stacks and your read on him

If V raises only AAXX, you can fold pre. If he's a lot wider, the call is OK, but you are pretty shallow. I like the rest of the hand.

You're 32% preflop against AA and will have a tough time realizing equity - I think it is a fold pre given stacks. As played if you truly think he has only AA donk jamming the flop might be the way to go given he's checking back alot.

Why would you donk Jammed against his bad AAxx if you have him dominate the time he fold and otherwise get in bad?

solver is jamming pre at these stacks fwiw, you block AA and a lot of broadway so it weights him more to some kind of lower rundown probably
I would just ship it instead of calling

I like the pot on the turn. You have nuts, don't you? He can have KK for a set with no straight. Want him to call with 23% chance of winning the hand or fold his equity. Sometimes you both have the straight now, but if the board pairs, he will usually have the better full house. However, there isn't much you can do about that.

Shoving preflop would be terrible, whatever the solver says. He has AA/KK/QQ most of the time and you are usually 30-40% against those.

Its fold pre flop. Post flop played fine but I don't understand your pre flop call. You are definitely crushed here especially if they know you are a nit and they are 3b you.

i only see one question in this thread/hand. No, you can't fold here after opening. You opened this funky nutty hand to play it and you got 3b. If we had a few more players it'd be nice but you're not opening up front and laying down to one aggressive action hu from a lag. If there is anything to learn is try to not assign AAxx to everyone's 3b range, esp live, and even against other 'uber nits' like yourself. There's a plethora of hands he (and you) can 3b with: dbl suited rundowns, dbl suited dbl paired, single suited dbl paired, good kings, dbl suited kkxx. I wouldn't necessarily 3b these hands but as per your player description you can bet these hands are 3betting a nit, at least some of the time. (post flop is fine, i might go slightly less than pot personally but it's not a big deal)
