Seems like a clear check in a 6 way pot. We run into KK some that chk'd to pfr and isn't betting this turn OOP, we run into QJ here still a good amount, even if we are ahead now we have to dodge 2 FDs most likely to hold up. The only case to be made for betting would be to pot it and push out some non nut FDs but it's not clear we're pushing any kind of equity advantage here in a 6 way pot
Check seems fine. Pre-flop call likely a losing play.
Similarly the ajt(99) from utg in another hand you posted. If we are playing connected cards with a pair we want higher ranked pairs for more equity and better playability.
These type of more speculative holdings can easily become reverse implied odds hands, where you are dominated or freerolled.
