5 card PLO question about Top set

I had a general question about playing the top set on the flop. Are we ever folding to a bet then a reraise multiway on a wet, 2-tone, connected flop? We should be getting at least 33% equity( I'm assuming), so should we be happy to get all in money in a single raised pot?

Hi, HU you might be behind (wrap, FD), flipping (OESD, FD), dominating (middle set, 2 pair). Entirely opponent dependent and it creates these big swings in PLO5.

Multiway you almost always have enough equity. Happy is relative, you want to flip 33% on 100 to win 300?

Hey Sabin,

I see your point. I'm actually not happy about the flip, but I suppose it's a +ev, so I may not have a choice??

Thanks for the response lol

When you say connected flop, are you talking about T98 and you have TT? or are you talking about K98 and you have KK?

I think in the 2nd scenario, you are never folding, in the first scenario it is a bit closer because you are likely behind and some of your outs are likely blocked. With additional equity, I am calling, but if you are naked, I can see a world that you fold.
