3bet pot ip, paired turn

2/2 live 5 to call, 8 handed.

V aggressive with draws , bluff headsup sometimes. Nothing too crazy.

Hero has uber nit image.

Effective 420

Ep opens to 10
V in +2 calls
Hero in Mp with AAQJ 3bets to 45
both calls

3 way pot 139
Flop KJ3
Checks to hero
We are supposed to cbet? or check back?
Hero bets 70, V calls

Poy 279
Turn K
V donks 150???
Hero??? only has 300 behind.

V doesn't slowplay flop with any value hands(2p+), he even fastplays combodraws.

I don’t hate the cbet. We can bet fold vs EP but will have to stack off vs V. He probably just has something like KQTx no FD. Does he ever do something like this with dry QT9 or QT or dry 8 high FD? W/o a read he does I think we just fold here

Overpair nut gutshot, blocks bway continues, board interaction through middle pair, it's enough at spr 2.6.

Size bigger. See how 70 called once makes 279 and you have 310 left? 125 seems ideal but anywhere from 85 to pot let's you gii next action. You'd much prefer hu over 3way so encourage that.

Turn is a quick fold - his range should be more Kx heavy than say flush draw as I would expect his FD's to x/r the flop given most combos have a straight draw or a pair with them. Maybe he donks Kx here to protect against you checking back an obv AA (you said you're a supernit image) and of course the flush coming in.

Flop checkback totally okay too but I prefer ~100 and then call it off.

Turn as played is pretty easy fold.

Agree with most, go larger on the flop, easy fold on the turn.

I would just check it back on the flop, this board hits their range so hard. As played I fold turn also.

without backdoor available, I am not sure I want to bet this flop and inflate the flop.
we are happy on turn only with A - Q - J without heart and we are surpassed by many hands for vilains on this flop

In game I was thinking what Kxxx he has. I was thinking he has to ship over my flop bet with kxxx plus any type of draws.

I tank call

River T
V ships Hero calls
V announces he has a boat, Hero was about to muck
He flips over KQ96 with bottom st8
Hero shows and wins.
He said he forgot his cards thought he had a boat.

So turns out had a shitty gutshot w/tp.
He said he literally put on aaxx (because of our nitty image).

So you made a really bad call and got lucky. Don't be results oriented, as I am sure you know.

Let that be a lesson not to muck to just a verbal declaration. Real easy to “innocently” misdeclare your hand.

I think flop is a bet/call, turn is a fold.
