Microstakes - Good spot to bluff catch 3 handed?

Playing 3 handed against probably the best reg at the microstakes on ClubGG. He seems to have sensible ranges and plays smart TAG style.

Hero (button) 121bb
SB 118bb
BB (villain) 100bb

Hero is on the button with KcKh4h5s.
Pre: Hero raises 3.5BB, SB folds, BB calls
Flop: Qc 8s 8h

BB checks, Hero bets 5.5BBs into 7.5BBs, BB c/r to 24BBs, Hero calls

Turn: As
BB checks, Hero checks

River: 7h
BB bets pot (56BBs), Hero?

Again we have no reads other than this player appears to be a consistent winner, which means he has to have a sensible % of bluffs in his range.

Is this a good spot to bluff catch?

Fold to the c/r on the flop. As played, still folding. Don't see V having air a whole lot on this board and with A on board, he could even be potting this with a hand like AQ now. The only thing you beat is a missed draw like a TTJ9 type of hand.

Short answer is no, long answer is when you fix your flop bet sizing, maybe but still probably no

Yeah why so big on flop? This is a flop we bet frequently for a small sizing.

What do you think villains c/r range is on the flop? In game I couldn't think of anything beyond QQxx or Q8xx, which is super narrow.

Your sizing on the flop was too big. He can comfortably raise with any 8 now as you shouldn't be betting that big with QQ, so his range can include any hand with an 8 (JT98, T987, 9876, 8765, JJT8, JJ98, TT98, AT98, AJT8, etc.). I don't put QQ in his range either as he shouldn't be c/r pot on the flop with QQ. Flop size should be 1/4 to 1/3 pot to keep in the hands you do beat and not bloat the pot on a board that connects better with his range and is harder for you to play on the turn and river.

I’m not too sure why you keep worrying about what his range is rather than the big flop mistake you’re making but his range is very narrow due to your flop sizing and it basically all beats you

yes flop sizing too big
yes fold to x/r

but as played potential to rep AA by betting turn small and then bet big river even though you don't have an A in your hand. I make it a habit at microstakes to always rep AA if i'm the PFA because everyone i find is scared of it. But this is just me playing exploitatively and probs not solver approved
