Did I fall into the raw pot-odds trap?
So here's the hand, I don't know how to properly share the hands from PokerCraft without Hand2Note π
- PLO2 6-max, 210bb effective stacks
- MP limps, I 3-bet from CO with 7654 triple suited, BTN 4-bets, SB calls, others fold and I call
- Flop comes A84 with two spades (I have none in my hand)
- I pot (50bb), button jams, SB folds and I call
- Villain shows dry AAJT
My primary question is if calling the shove is okay. I have inner wrap plus backdoor draws so if assuming all my outs are clean, I'm getting sufficient pot-odds. However, sometimes villain of course has the flush draw as well , which wipes out 3 of my outs. Also my straights can be potentially dominated.

Donking into the 4bettor on an ace high board is a huge flaw in overall strategy.
This is not a 3b pre. As played it’s probably a slightly losing call.
I don't mind the raise pre or calling the 3 bet this deep. However, why on Earth are you donking into the 3 bettor with an A and two spades on the flop, and no spades in your hand? You could have as little as 6 outs here. Keep the pot as small as possible and hopefully he only bets 1/3 to 1/2 pot. Otherwise, if he bets full pot on the flop, it is probably a fold heads up.

Do you have any hand organizer software to make this hand easier on the eyes?
Looks like you ISO not 3Ball. Calling pre is fine as played.
Check the flop seems fine. The donk is ****en atrocious even thought maybe it gets through rarely. Just check/fold.
As played, I don't think its close it might be a fold.

Thank you for still answering, even though my starting post was not very good. As @amok pointed out, I incorrectly wrote that I would have 3-bet pre but actually I flatted and btn iso-bet. I don’t have any hand organizer software, but of course I will get one if I stick with poker for longer.
And yeah I agree that potting the flop was stupid. I feel that also in general my biggest mistakes come from overplaying postflop. I bluff rivers with much greater frequency than 1/3 as an example, but this on the other hand feels quite profitable in PLO2 R&C pool against nitregs.
