plo50 River Check back?
Villian is bad agro and a borderline maniac. 58/ 26. I thought a river bet might target over pairs and Jx, but maybe the value is too thin??

Seems fine, now obviously call with the reads. Are you asking because you lost?
If you use these sizings on the river expect to get bluff raised a good portion of the time, which can be used to your advantage. Based on your reads seems like a snap call.
SB should be sizing up ott, so in this spot they probably aren't that strong when they do bet.
The 8 is not a great card for you, this bet seems a little thin even with your reads.

Have to call now. I think the value is too thin to bet this river as there are not many hands that can pay you off. The missed flush draws are folding and he could have a scared bare 4 now, in which you just value bet yourself. However, if you are betting to induce a bluff from a player like this, then I like it. For pure value though, too thin for me.
if you have 1k hands on him u should have viable stats on him like WSWBR for example, which would be helpful.
Why are we betting this river??
Flop seems like 3/4 cbet. or 1/4 whatever your cbet size is. They're calling with worse.
Fold as played, this kind of screams strength and at these stakes calling is donating here.
