I raise first in or re-pop it pre depending on BTN.

Yea the turn is brutal.I feel like having the J blocks some of villain's straight combos is also a good thing.

Hero also has the King of clubs in his hand. That is relevant on the turn in terms of knowing your opponent does not have the nut flush draw to strengthen their choices.
I'm not sure if I like the way Hero played any street of this hand, but I have been partying and drinking all night and don't want to think too hard about it right now.
You should shove turn in the dark.
Should definitely raise pre - you have an equity advantage and this hand does not play well multiway. Turn card really sucks but I think given the size of the pot you have no choice but to go ahead with it.

Agreed, but let me ask you this:
What if we were earlier to act (MP, for example) or if we know that no one is folding anyways.
Or...we have 2-3 limps before us and we are OOP?

Yeh it is interesting with a hand like KK that has an equity advantage but realizing it multiway will be very tough. A3K7ds might be breakeven equity wise preflop but much easier to play post/realize equity. I still think we raise even though we know it's going multiway - we have the equity advantage, we can make top set, and we can lower the SPR playing OOP.

Crippling rake significantly affects the profitability of passive actions. Use judgement for limiting calls to spots where you blow far past the rake cap reliably, mostly when everyone is deep and wild enough.
Tight opens and tight facing 3b/4b are pretty good imo. Just folding KKJ5 bad ss is powerful. So few of your opponents do the same in your spot. If you have to be mindful of giving to get action, that's different.
