I think call is better pre. In theory, IP ccer tends to have fewer folds in his range than an opener. In practice they don't fold enough.

As played, idk feels like he has way more Tx than us in range. Best part of our hand is that it plays across more run-outs better for barreling than stacking off now. Small has appeal but at spr 1.4? for the side maybe not deep enough.

I think the 4b pre is fine because the Buttons' range is capped, and the other player is already all- in. Still, I agree with Munga that calling is probably ok to keep the SPRs low with a hand that doesn't do great in low SPR pots. Especially when one player probably has more big pairs like AAx, KKx, and QQx that love low SPRs.

The flop is probably a check- fold. You missed the board completely, and don't block anything in a multi-way pot except for maybe overcards.

I can't see how 4b wouldn't be good pre. I.e. I think it is necessary and good.

Interestingly, on the flop you can slightly discount them having a T as we have 3 'proximity blockers' to them having starting hands with a T in them. Unblocking KK against which we have some equity, they fold that hand a lot here because they feel like a fool paying off AA which we have enough of the time.

I don't hate jamming. But checking gives us another opportunity to jam, assuming he checks behind. If he bets after our check we're happy as he's essentially never betting worse. If he checks behind our check, jam most turns. So checking probably better.

This is a large side pot and I think we should jam and make a royal if he calls.

this is a weird spot - I imagine a 2 street strategy is better than jamming the flop

maybe something like bet 18bb on flop / fold vs jam
turn play would be interesting after a call there too

would be curious what a solver does here

4! pre is certainly fine, the question is whether we actually want to keep BTN in hand with Hero's hand - which is quite possible, as we will dominate some of his rundown hands and don't mind x giving up more flops when sb is all-in
