It's fine. It's hard to imagine him jamming loads of worse hands over you if you call, and he does frequently have some equity you can deny. Can't think of many worse hands you'd do this with but you're also not up against that many sets and it's going to be hard to get paid off by lower flush draws on the river given a dry sidepot.
