You have the second nuts and a blocker and he can have the low sets or aces up.
Having the 3 makes this a no brainer.
The fact that this is the first time he's been doing the betting and that he potted into two players on the turn has me very concerned. That said, I don't mind a shove, but I definitely don't mind a fold.
(Every time I think, "Oh, I have a great hand, and I have blockers, " the blockers get me every time 😉 )
Spoiler
In game at the heat of the moment, I jammed. V has sets/35 was what I was thinking then.
V shows 3589r and wins. He asked if I had AA. I felt owned.
In game when I saw another fish making bad calls, I was astounded. Here I find myself to be the fish that can't lay down top set.
Eventually we realized V can make some tight folds(value hands).
V can make some bluffs when nobody has showed interest on flop and turn in position.
V also traps with nutted hands some time. Also has some sizing tells.
In general a passive fish.
Look. Hand was well played, you ran to the top of the range and that's it. One ability of a strong player is not to mull over such hands.
Let's say he is a horrible player who somehow telegraphs his hand strength. Maybe that means he can on the turn have sets+fd and straights. Your hand is still a getin. And like OmahaDonk said, having a 3 makes it a no brainer.
I'd 3bet preflop to try and isolate the villain.
As played, its a call when we hold the 3/5. Without either of them I think we have to force ourselves to muck and find a better spot.
