Thin Value Shove with Second Nuts in Limped Pot

Live 1-2

Hero has been active and aggressive; specifically trying to get in pots with Villain and mess with him.

UTG folds
EP folds
MP traveling Euro TAG calls 5 (350 stack)
HJ folds
CO folds
BTN [Villain] fish calls 5 (1k stack)
SB nit calls 5 (350 stack)
BB [Hero] calls 5 with As Th 9h 3c (1k stack)

Pot 20

Flop 9s 9d 3h

Nit checks
Hero checks
Euro bets 15
Fish raises to 45
Nit folds
Hero raises to 125
Euro tank-folds
Fish snap calls 125

Pot 285

Turn 7h

Hero checks
Fish bets 200
Hero calls 200

Pot 685

River 2s

Fish bets 200

Is it too thin for Hero to shove for 670 with the second nuts (to get value from 33xx)?

I think it's between call or fold.
Shoving is a bit crazy.

Why can't the tag folded 33? fish has 9x?
I think most fishes fold 33 on flop to a 3bet unless they overvalue their hands like a whale.

Your hand is a bit faced up once you check/call turn.

Fold pre

Ez game

Why did you check the turn and then not raise when the villain put in $200? You wan't to keep piling the money in. I would have bet turn for $220 and if the villain raises I get it in there.

As played, I shove river.

There's only three combos of 97 which have you beat. Other than that it's like one combo of 33 and a whole bunch of 9x combos that villain could be overplaying.

I probably should’ve made a small bet on the turn. Not sure how I feel about a large bet.

But I wasn’t sure how I’d feel if I got raised on a turn lead. It’s a limped pot with 50 SPR on the flop.

I didn’t like his turn sizing and decided to play defense and check-call.

Then on the river I changed my mind when he bet only 200. I decided it was more likely he had 33xx than 97xx (I figured the Euro pro folded 9xxx instead of 33xx).

So I shoved for value because we’ve been messing with each other, albeit in smaller pots.

(I doubt he’s overplaying bare 9xxx, but I guess it’s possible.)

I think raising (river) is the normal play against a weak player choosing that sizing.

I dont think Euro is ever folding 33. Had Euro shown a tendenacy to limp early postion with hands like AAxx -TTxx. If not then I think you may be right and Euro folds a weak 9, now that I think about it more.

I'm more inclined to say that if the villain is a fish there is a greater likelihood they overvalue all of their 9x

Yeah in my experience, weaker PLO players play their flopped underboats really fast to protect 9xxx from drawing out. Thats why I really thought fish had 33xx and Euro folded 9xxx with middle cards. Plus not many 33xx Euro can open-limp from MP with.
