AAxx 3b IP Top Set Mono Board Flop Decision
I'm transitioning to PLO and this hand was played at PLO50 on ClubWPT. Mainly care about the flop decision
100bb eff Villain VPIP 40 PFR 20
Villain (MP) opens, Hero AhAc9h2c (CO) 3b, villain only caller
F AdKd2d (Pot 25bb Eff 88bb)
Villain checks Hero ???
SPR 3.5 so I don't think it is good to get the money in. I didn't like any option in the moment and I went with check. As I continue to think about this hand I feel like B33 might be right and fold to raise because I don't think they are ever bluff raising. Doubt villain would raise with KK so I feel like it is a range bet and fold to resistance
T AdKd2d3s (Pot 25bb Eff 88bb)
Villain B75 (18.75bb) Hero Call
R AdKd2d3s (Pot 62.5bb Eff 68.75)
Villain B75 (47bb) Hero Folds

Flop check back is fine. You didn't post what the river is but river could be anything from a call down to a fold depending who we're against. The wider they open the more they will be in here will SS hands rather than DS or even possibly Rainbow. If you know someone is willing to bluff a lot postflop we can't fold this river if they are also even semi wide pf
Something like 40/20 stats would indicate that this guy might be opening more of his DS hands and limp calling some of the middling/higher SS ones. Given that I don't really hate river fold

Ok thanks. That helps add a few more things to consider while playing and reviewing hands
