I think the pool here folds to double barrels too little. So maybe double barrel is a punt in that case???

Check back flop, what are we accomplishing by betting? Sb’s preflop stats are alarming and we should default to them being a station until shown otherwise.
Looks kinda bad? You want him to have the cards you have for the barrel to be good. I agree with OD, start with a check intending to call turns. I'd much rather take your line with any KJ for example, barrel maybe if you have Kd.
