live ~ limped pot flop nuts

5/5/10 ~ 9 handed ~ timed rake

Eff 800
some limpers
Hero in sb limps w/a588r.

6way pot 60
Flop 832dd
Btn bets 45
Btn plays weird, opens wide pre. Postflop has some random aggression w/bluffs sometimes. Gets very tricky/trappy w/nuts even ip xback just to raise/get stacks in future streets.

We supposed to x/r immediately?
What to do if diamonds hit w/1spr ob turn.

POT and jam any safe turn

The reason you pot is because this hand is too hard to play on turns so you want to run your equity now or have so much money in the middle on a safe turn you can jam. Calling means you have to navigate turns and rivers which may or may not be good for you.

Fold pre btw

Yes if you check, it is to check/raise immediately. Did you block any diamonds?

If we check pot the flop we can get more of it in on turn. No need to complicate a line that’s printing and easy to play.

Hero has one diamond in his hand.
