DBBP Trips | Top Set Blocker, 5-Handed

$50 bomb pot, 5 players

Pot 210 after time collection

Flop 1: TT7 rainbow
Flop 2: 962 rainbow

SB fish checks
BB fish checks
HJ [Hero] bets 125 with T983 badugi (1k stack, everyone covers)
CO pro folds
BTN pro calls 125
SB folds
BB folds

I bet the flop because I figure— Hand values go up short-handed. I have a decent hand up top. I have the nut blocker and a gutshot on bottom.

I wanted to take the pot down right away. I guess I could’ve bet a little more.

Maybe my hand is too weak and I should’ve check-called. I have no idea what I’m doing.

Pot 460

Turn 1: TT72 rainbow
Turn 2: 962J two clubs

I guess blockers don't mean much in bomb pots. I wish I had checked the flop.

5-handed imo potting the flop and hoping they all fold isn’t terrible. But ap it’s a check probably fold on the turn.
